Our Process Banner2

Your day job isn't building your new Web site. You have a hundred things on your "To Do" list and you need a partner that can make the process of upgrading your Web site as simple, easy and painless for your team as possible. And that's what we do.

We've been building business impacting Web sites since 1996. In that time we've perfected a streamlined process for working closely with our clients through every step of site design and production process.

Design & Discovery

Step 1: Project Kickoff - Information Gathering

This step of the project is pretty self-explanatory. It's where we begin the engagement and get the project underway. We sit down and learn as much as we can about your business, your market and your ultimate goals.

Step 2: Architecture - Developing the Blueprint

The next step in the project is strategic.  Based on the thoughts and objectives discussed during the kickoff meeting, we will help you create an information architecture blueprint. We have a set of documents that we use to articulate the vision of the site. These include a site map, a wireframe, a clickable prototype and a functional specification. Not every project needs each of these but for those that have more complex requirements it's a big factor in the ultimate success.

Step 3: Design - Creating the Look and Feel

Creation of an attractive new website design and easy to use navigation system is critical to your new website project. We will create two alternate home page design mockups for your review. Once you choose a design, we revise it to your complete satisfaction.  Upon approval of the home page, we will create an inner page for your review and approval as well. This is also the point in the project when we'll need to start thinking about the site copy. During this phase, navigation and functionality defined in the architecture are addressed by building design pages for the most important pages of the new site.

Step 4: Development - Constructing the Site

Now that we've structured the site foundation and developed the look and feel, it's time to start building. Our developers start tearing up the design, the front-end designers build out the style sheets and HTML templates, the content folks are busy writing and creating appropriate graphics. During the build-out we keep you updated with a staging site where you can review the progress and conduct your own testing of the site.

Step 5: Launch - Site Live

Upon your acceptance of the beta release of the site, we coordinate the go-live of your new site. We work with you team to roll-out the new site to your employees, partners, customers, and prospects. Our final review and testing of the site takes place once the site has launched.

Step 6: On-going Support

Our involvement doesn't necessarily end with the launch of your new site. We offer ongoing maintenance and support plans to ensure your site stays fresh and marketable. Our marketing team can work with you to establish a monthly marketing campaign that seeks to attract and convert the best possible visitors for your business. And our account managers are making sure you are abreast of the newest developments that can help propel your site to the front and keep you there.

Development: Constructing the Site

Now that we have structured the site foundation and developed the look and feel, it's time to start building. Once we have final approval on the discovery and design phase we'll use the deliverables developed as our road map to constructing your new site. During the build-out we will keep you updated with a staging version of the site where you can review the progress and conduct your own testing of the site. liQuidprint utilizes an online tool for the recording and tracking of your feedback. When building out your site we will utilize best practices for coding standards and insure your site is W3C compliant.
