DeBrand Fine Chocolates

This fine Chocolatier came to us concerned about its ability to accommodate the large increase in holiday orders. We suggested ways to automate its order fulfillment process that now, works like a piece of cake.

DeBrand Fine Chocolates has been a recognized producer fine American and European-style chocolates for more than 20 years.

DeBrand came to liQuidprint, concerned about its ability to accommodate the large increase in holiday orders. The company's existing order fulfillment system was slow and left a lot of room for human error. Also, credit cards were not charged until orders were entered into the system.

liQuidprint created a Web-based order entry system that simplified Debrand's internal processing and allowed staff to process orders immediately.   Once the order is entered, the new system tracks the order through fulfillment and shipping using a bar-coded ticket that can be scanned instead of entered manually.

One of the biggest challenges was shipping, because DeBrand's merchandise is not only delicate but also perishable. The liQuidprint team worked diligently to develop a shipping procedure that would accommodate any type of order regardless of season, destination or weather.

Simple order processing followed by quick and accurate delivery... that's pretty sweet.
