Answer: A system to manage thousands of listings all over the globe, an easy to use maintenance module, innovative search technology, and a touch of class

Paul Boomsma, Luxury Portfolio’s Executive Vice President, turned to liQuidprint with a challenge: to build the #1 luxury real estate Web site on the planet. The Web site needed to showcase the dominance of the Luxury Portfolio members in the marketplace and provide an extraordinary experience for the visitor.

But building the #1 Real Estate Web site on the planet isn’t a simple process...

The first challenge was to manage the thousands of luxury properties listed by the Luxury Portfolio network from around the globe. This required building a robust “Luxury Marketing Engine” that would manage the property data, multiple photos and broker data for every property in the program. This information is automatically entered in the database through custom data feeds written for each market.

The next step was to build an extranet, LuxExchange. This gives brokers the ability to update associate information, maintain property data, view property reports, and register their clients for property updates as well as LuxTrends, the Luxury Portfolio newsletter. After all, the program also needed to serve as a strong marketing tool for Luxury Portfolio Members.

The result is a Web site that features an innovative display of luxury homes in an online "Luxury Property Gallery." While maintaining a consistent experience for the visitor, every property's unique features are illustrated through carefully arranged photography, virtual tours and comprehensive property information.

We added an interactive map search, specially tailored to fit the Luxury Portfolio brand. Here visitors can search by clicking on their country and state of interest, then narrowing their search by choosing city, bedrooms, and baths among other options. Not to mention you can search in eight different languages. Also useful are descriptions of home designs and location guides that match a visitor’s lifestyle to the right home. More importantly, the site reflects Luxury Portfolio’s leadership position in the luxury marketplace.
