Well, Google Alerts is a content change detection and notification system that informs on relevant Google search results for things like news, blogs, articles etc. that you are particularly interested in.By using Google Alerts you'll receive new updates on the top 20 web results or top 10 news results for terms you specify to the system, also allowing you to delete any unwanted updates in the email or RSS feed. Google Alerts provides information by updating you and sending alerts via email, web feed, or iGoogle as queries from you are updated or changed.

This is how you work Google Alerts...

• Find out what your interests are and enter a query about it
• Once this is done, Google Alerts checks regularly to give you updated information on the topics of your choice
• If new entries are found Google Alerts sends out an email to let you know!
