Becoming a Winner Using Online Video

    Posted by : Eric Wood

Who wants to advertise through television when you can be more personable and social through online video sharing. In today's time people are looking to feel addressed directly and accommodated for their time spent viewing your content. And yes, you should award them with multiple viewing abilities and 24hr access to your web video. Consumers are engulfed in work and outside activities, which limits their time frames to sit home and watch television. These social butterflies account for the reasons why television advertisement dollars are now shifting to online video. eMarketer estimates that by 2015, 76% of Internet users, or 195.5 million people, will watch video content online every month. With this huge jump in online video sharing why not extend your materials to the Internet!

Measurements for consumer awareness, favorability, attitudes, and purchase intent become exceptionally easier using online video than with television. Your audience wants more control over what they are viewing. Online video can give them the options to view which advertisements they want to see and when. Online videos and their advertisements have the abilities to come in multiple formats to accommodate viewers such as Flash, Flash Video, MP4, Windows Media File, WebM, Audio only, pre-roll (mid, post) vs. overlay vs. companion banners (mediaposts.com).

If you want to gain awareness, marketability, company exposure, consumer satisfaction, brand recognition and advertisement dollars, online video is the new way to go. It's the new way consumers are receiving and sending information, it's the new way companies are growing and it's the new way media is being produced. If you want to become a winner join the winning movement and add online video to your website.
